‘Snowfall’ Spinoff In Early Development Starring Gail Bean
It looks like ‘Snowfall‘ fans may have something to look forward to after the hit series comes to an end.
According to Deadline, a spinoff of the hit drama series is in early stages of development at FX. While things are still under wraps, it’s rumored that actress Gail Bean would be starring in the spinoff, reprising her Snowfall character Wanda.
According to sources, the spinoff is a continuation of the original show set in 1990s Los Angeles as South Central transitions out of the crack era into the gangster rap era.
The source added,
“Wanda would serve as the connective tissue between the original show and the offshoot, which is expected to introduce other main characters.”

As of now, it is unknown if any other original characters will appear in the new series.
After 6 successful seasons, Snowfall will come to an end on April 19. The series stars Damson Idris as Franklin Saint, a young drug kingpin in 1980s Los Angeles during the height of the crack epidemic.

Set in Los Angeles in 1983, the series revolves around the first crack epidemic and its impact on the city, and the stories of several characters whose lives ultimately intersect.
Gail Bean has had a successful career. The actress has starred in the series Paradise Lost and the film Unexpected. She has also acted in Insecure, Love in the Time of Corona, Atlanta, and Detroiters. She is best known for her portrayal of Wanda Bell on Snowfall. She is also a cast member on season 2 of P-Valley.
