Fans are concerned about the latest news surrounding Jamie Foxx.

Corinne Foxx, 29-year-old daughter of Jamie Foxx, took to Instagram on Wednesday (Apr. 12) and broke the devastating news that her famous dad “experienced a medical complication.” Corinne didn’t provide in-depth details about what happened to the “Day Shift” actor but she did let fans know that he was already “on his way to recovery.”

Corinne Foxx wrote:

“From the Foxx Family: We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery.”

She added:

“We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.

After learning about Jamie’s health issues, social media users flooded Twitter with theories about what the entertainer could possibly be recovering from. Outside of wondering if he suffered a stroke or brain aneurysm,  fans sent their prayers and well wishes to Jamie and his family.

This story comes after the 55-year-old actor was almost the victim of a bizarre financial incident. As previously reported, Jamie’s Netflix film “Back In Action” was put on pause after someone tried to scam him out of $40,374.18. The investigation reportedly led to the termination of a crew member law enforcement believed was connected to other high-profile figures that were scammed in the past.
