Recently, Miguel A. Núñez Jr., who’s known for his leading role in “Juwanna Mann,” revealed that a sequel to the romantic-comedy movie is in the works. Miguel A. Núñez Jr. announced:
“We are doing a ‘Juwanna Mann 2.’”

“Absoutely, 100%. They [supported] the first one, they would definitely do it for this one.”
During his chat with TMZ, Miguel, 63, shared that he has no plans on starring in the sequel but he may make an appearance in a supporting role, possibly as a coach. He also dished on the celebs who have reached out about having a part in the film and shared that a certain Golden State Warriors player is interested in acting in the movie.
“Draymond Green, I talked to him, he wants to be in it as well.”
“Juwanna Mann” debuted in movie theaters on June 21, 2002. The film focuses on Jamal Jeffries (played by Miguel), a pro-basketball player who isn’t ready to walk away from the game due to a lengthy suspension. His obsession with the sport leads him to suit up as a woman for the WNBA. As he helps his new team climb the ranks, Jamal Jeffries realizes he has feelings for team captain Michelle (played by Vivica A. Fox).
