Trey Songz Avoids 10 Charges In Bowling Alley Assault After Taking Plea Deal
Trey Songz has managed to avoid some serious legal troubles.
Reportedly, on Tuesday (May 2) Trey Songz pled guilty to a disorderly conduct violation in connection with a bowling alley dispute that occurred last year where he allegedly assaulted two people. Due to the plea deal, prosecutors reportedly dismissed 10 other charges against him, including assault and aggravated harassment.

As part of the deal, a judge has ordered Trey Songz to complete 12 anger management courses by August. The “One Love” artist’s attorney released a statement on behalf of his client’s guilty plea. Mitchell Schuster reportedly said:
“We appreciate the New York law enforcement and the District Attorney’s office for their comprehensive investigation and careful consideration of all evidence, which ultimately confirmed what we had known all along and resulted in the District Attorney’s office choosing not to pursue any of the original charges against our client.”
He added:
“With each and every one of the 10 original charges now dismissed by operation of law, Trey looks forward to putting this matter behind him.”

As previously reported, last October Trey Songz — real name Tremaine Aldon Neverson — was arrested after he was accused of punching two people in the face at a New York City bowling alley, hospitalizing one of the alleged victims. He allegedly punched a woman in the face inside of the facility’s restroom. Details about the incident note the second victim, a man, was also punched in the eye by the 38-year-old. However, he allegedly refused medical treatment.
Weeks later, Trey turned himself over to authorities and was booked. He was eventually released and given a desk appearance ticket for assault.
