Kandi Burruss Says Phaedra Parks ‘Will Never Get Sh*t’ From Her In Response To Fans Wanting A Sit Down From The Former Friends
Kandi Burruss will not be rekindling her friendship with Phaedra Parks.
During a conversation on the latest episode of her Speak On It web series, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star said fans will not be getting a sit-down session between herself and her former co-star Phaedra Parks.
Kandi Burruss said,
“I don’t owe her sh*t. And I will say that to anybody… I don’t owe her sh*t [and] she will never get sh*t from me.”
She continued,
“It’s not about the fans, I love the fans…You can’t defend yourself against blatant liars or people who are so spiteful that they will make up anything to tear you down and then hide.”
Kandi Burruss was referring to the serious sexual assault accusations Phaedra Parks made, continuing, “During the time that the whole situation played out, we didn’t even know she was involved.” Kandi noted that Porsha Williams was the one who finally shined a light on Phaedra’s involvement in the harmful rumor.
As previously reported, Phaedra appeared on RHOA from season three — which aired in 2010 — until season nine which aired in 2016. Her exit seemingly stemmed from the drama that occurred during the season nine reunion.
You may recall that Phaedra and Kandi were once inseparable but their friendship eventually took an ugly turn that they never recovered from. The final straw came after it was revealed that Phaedra started a rumor that Kandi and her husband, Todd Tucker, attempted to drug and rape Porsha Williams.
While Kandi rarely speaks about their past relationship, Phaedra has previously said that she is open to the possibility of reconciliation — though it doesn’t appear that will be happening any time soon.
