Adele Stops Concert To Defend Ecstatic Fan Who Was Being Harassed By Security Guards For Standing: ‘Why Are You All Bothering Him?’
Singer Adele doesn’t play about her day ones!
On Saturday (Aug. 26), Adele’s Las Vegas residency (Weekends with Adele) was in full swing when she noticed a dedicated supporter having a discrepancy in the crowd.

Apparently, the concertgoer upset other audience members with his loud, stan-like behavior as he stood and proudly shouted every line of Adele’s song lyrics.
In a recorded clip of the incident, the young man belted out the words to the 35-year-old’s “I Drink Wine” track from her 2021 album ’30.’ Simultaneously, a woman approached him and (seemingly) said,
“Look behind you! Everybody’s upset–everybody!”
While the thrilled fan’s freak-out moment ceased for a while, he soon was back up singing again after Adele yelled from the stage:
“You can stand up now, darling! … Stand up!”

From there, his excitement grew, and he screamed and jumped up and down with joy. However, his exhilaration was (unfortunately) cut short (yet again) by a guard who made it his duty to enforce some restrictions on the fan.
The protection team member appeared to have sternly embraced the Adele lover and whispered a few guidelines to the young man. However, the “Rolling in the Deep” phenomenon came to the fan’s defense. She halted the entire show and said into her mic,
“What are you doing? Why are you all bothering him? Could you leave him alone, please? Leave him alone!”
Adele then spoke directly to the fan and said:
“They won’t bother you again, my darling. You enjoy the show! Leave him alone.”
The celebrated songstress concluded by letting it be known that she wasn’t in agreement with the venue’s unnecessary security measures.
She concluded,
“He’s been bothered the whole show by security and other people sitting behind him. He’s here to have fun, alright? All of you are here to have fun. Let’s get on with it.”
Ultimately, the guards had no choice but to relax, and Adele continued the concert.

When speaking of the occurrence on his TikTok, the fan expressed that he’d been planning to see her for a whole year.
He wrote,
“Adele thank you so much for this breathtaking night and for standing up for me, so that I could live your concert as it should be. I’m also sorry that I didn’t respond back to anything you asked me. You started talking to me and I literally stopped breathing…”

He furthered:
“I had been planning to come to this concert for over a year and I finally had the opportunity to come see [the] most beautiful glorious woman this earth has gotten. I still cannot wrap my head around the fact that I was in the same room as ADELE, sang every song with her, and she even stopped the show to defend me.”

The fan closed with,
“I did not [expect] everyone in my section to be mad at me for having the time of my life and wanting to stand up and sing with her but I honestly did not care at all about what anyone was saying to me. I just was in awe with the masterpiece I was watching with my own eyes. I did not have time for them haters.”
