Famed celebrity kid North West has big dreams and ambitions for her future self.
The daughter of former power couple Kim Kardashian and Kanye West opened up about taking on her family’s businesses someday, during a recent cover interview.

Making her solo magazine debut on the cover of ID’s latest “The New Wave” issue, 10-year-old North West dished about her hobbies, favorite music, fashion, and her desire to be an entrepreneur. Reportedly, North revealed during her interview that she plans to continue honing in on her basketball and art skills until she’s about 13. By then, the TikTok star said she plans to walk dogs around her LA residence to raise money for art supplies because “everything around here is so expensive.”

North also shared that her favorite song by her Grammy Award-winning dad Kanye is “Through The Wire,” and that she has a closet full of vintage tees. In addition, she touched on her singing talent, which she attributes “a little bit” to her musician father. At the end of the Q&A, North expressed her hopes to be a multi-faceted businesswoman one day. When asked what career lane she wants to pursue, North stated:
“A basketball player, a rapper,…Well, when I was seven, I wanted to be a boxer. But now I don’t want to be a boxer. I’m going to do art on the side…So a rapper, a basketball player, and I’m going to make artwork that I sell. Also, one day I want to own Yeezy and SKIMS, and I want to be a business owner.”

There’s no question where the fashionista gets her ambition from. Both of her parents have managed to build successful retail empires that have both, at one point or another, held billion-dollar valuations. For Kardashian’s part, her SKIMS clothing company reached a $4 billion valuation earlier this year, after just 3 years of being in business. As we covered, the beauty mogul’s company extended its reach even further recently, signing on as an official partner of the NBA.

As far as West’s Yeezy brand goes, reports state the company still holds a worth of around $1.3 billion as of September of this year, despite the controversy surrounding its owner. If you recall, the “Donda” artist lost his personal billionaire status last year following a string of commentary he made about Jewish control in the media. Though West was dropped from major deals with brands such as GAP and Adidas, it’s been reported that the apparel giants still plan to sell off the remaining Yeezy merchandise they have.

We’re sure young North will have a lot of lessons to take from her parents’ stellar success and pitfalls as she pursues a career of her own.
