Beyoncé Reportedly Requests $10 Million Budget For Potential Residency At The Las Vegas Sphere
Looks like superstar singer Beyoncé may be taking her talents to Vegas!
According to reports, the songstress is being recruited for a residency at the billion-dollar Las Vegas Sphere for next year.

Reportedly, Beyoncé, 42, requested a $10 million budget to produce the show, which is equal to what rock band U2 was allegedly given for their concert series. U2 was the first, and only act thus far, to have a residency at the Nevada arena, which debuted just a couple of months ago. The band will end their 36-show run this coming February.
As no other follow-up performers have been announced just yet, it’s reported that Madison Square Garden CEO James Dolan, has his sights set on Beyoncé. Sources familiar with the matter shared that her husband Jay Z and mother Tina Knowles have already toured the facility on separate occasions.

Taking a look at her schedule, it does appear Beyoncé would be free to take the job. Following the conclusion of her record-breaking “Renaissance Tour” last month, the “Cuff It” artist reportedly hasn’t announced any subsequent shows. It seems the deal will ultimately come down to whether or not Dolan agrees to the hefty budget. The reports note that the number may be too high seeing as though artists retain a guaranteed amount of the venue’s ticket sales, which holds 20,000 occupants. Reportedly, the venue itself earns its main revenue from suite sales and advertising displayed on the dome-shaped LED screens.

If it turns out the two can’t agree to a deal, sources say there are a few runner-up artists the CEO has in mind. Other big names floating around include the likes of Lady Gaga and Bon Jovi, though nothing has been confirmed at this time.
