Update: Deion Sanders’ Ex-Fiancée Tracey Edmonds Clarifies That She Was The One Who Ended Their 12-Year Relationship: ‘I’ve Chosen To Prioritize Myself & My Family’
Update: (Dec. 11, 2023): The breakup between Tracey Edmonds and football legend Deion Sanders might not have been as amicable as they initially claimed.
Earlier this month Edmonds, 56, released a statement letting the world know that she’s a single woman. In the post, she shared that after 12 years of dating Sanders, also 56, they “mutually decided” it was best if they continued life as friends only. Sanders even commented on the post, giving the TV producer her flowers by writing, in part,
“I appreciate the times we’ve shared and they laughs we’ve had. …You are an amazing woman and a tremendous mother.”
However, despite things appearing to be cool between the exes, Edmonds recently made it clear that she was the one who called things off. In a new statement shared over the weekend, she revealed,
“I want to clarify that it was my decision to end the relationship, despite any different narratives being presented. I’ve chosen to prioritize myself and my family, moving forward towards a future where I am valued, treated with honesty, and free to embrace the happiness and respect I deserve.”

Original Story: (Dec. 4, 2023): Deion Sanders is back on the market.
TV producer Tracey Edmonds broke the news Sunday night (Dec. 4) that she and Deion Sanders have decided to end their relationship after 12 years together. Paired with an image of the former love birds, she wrote,
“To EVERYONE who has been there for us, supported us, and shown us love…
We have mutually decided that it is best for us to move forward in life AS FRIENDS and have made this decision with love in our hearts, respect for each other, and appreciation for the time we’ve shared together. Please keep us in your prayers as we go through this transition. Thank you for being there for us ALL THESE YEARS! We love you and appreciate you SO MUCH!”

According to reports, Deion Sanders and Tracey Edmonds first met in 2012 during a movie
premiere party for a film Edmonds had produced. A few months later, they started dating, and in 2019 they got engaged.

The two-time Super Bowl champion and Edmonds share no children but have kids from previous relationships. Edmonds shares two boys with her ex-husband, musical legend Babyface.
Sanders shares two children with his first wife, Carolyn Chambers, and three children with his second wife, Pilar Biggers-Sanders.
