Bobbi Althoff Addresses Why She Didn’t Tour w/ Funny Marco + Denies Stealing His Interviewing Style
Bobbi Althoff, known for her viral podcast interview with Drake and other celebrities, recently hashed out grievances with Funny Marco.
On his podcast “Open Thoughts,” Funny Marco and Bobbi Althoff discussed why they didn’t tour together and their fallout.
At some point before their joint tour, the social media influencer claimed she texted Funny Marco a long message to let him know she was “depressed,” but she said he “didn’t care.” Instead of being a friend to her, Bobbi Althoff claimed the comedian unfollowed her on social media.
Known for his awkward approach to podcast interviews, Funny Marco, born Marco Summers, initially responded,
“That was before you texted me.”
When Bobbi Althoff persisted, claiming “The Night” actor unfollowed her after the text message, Funny Marco jokingly admitted,
“That was not me. I was out of my body. I’m so sorry.”

Despite Bobbi calling the situation “f***ed up,” Marco said he has since followed her back. Nevertheless, the internet star shared she’s in a better place mentally and would “show up” if they planned to do another tour.

Also, the pair addressed allegations in the interview that the 26-year-old copied Marco’s interview style and passed it off as hers. Bobbi jokingly stated to Marco, “You took my stuff,” before she later added,
“No, I honestly think that we were both doing the same thing a little different and then someone introduced me to you because they were like, ‘Oh, you guys are so similar.’ That’s the first I ever heard of you or seen you.”

The YouTube content creator then shared his opinion,
“I just feel like you being you, and I’m being me.”

Marco explained,
“I just give props when due, and I feel like you do your job. I feel like you doing what you gotta do, and I feel like you getting where you gotta get to.”
Marco and Bobbi infamously did a podcast together last year on her “Really Good Podcast” series. She credited that interview with taking her “to different levels” while expressing her appreciation for the comedian.
Despite criticism of her podcast technique, it was the jumping-off point for Bobbi and her career. She’s interviewed several celebrities like Lil Yachty, Shaq, Offset, and more!
Marco has also interviewed some of the world’s biggest celebrities, from Nicki Minaj to Chris Brown and Kevin Hart.
