Wendy Williams’ Son Kevin Hunter Jr. Hit w/ Eviction Notice From High-Rise Miami Apartment Over Failure To Pay $4k
Kevin Hunter Jr. is seemingly trying to make ends meet after being cut off from his famous mother’s fortune.
According to reports, the 23-year-old son of Wendy Williams was served an eviction notice from his luxury high-rise Miami apartment on February 26, for failure to pay a total sum of $4,317.08. It’s said his monthly rent is $3,731, so it’s safe to assume additional fees were added due to the missing payment.

The notice reportedly warned,
“This is an action to evict the tenant from the premises.”
However, it seems that Kevin Hunter Jr. was able to find a way to secure the funds. Reportedly on March 5, the attorney for the building filed a notice to dismiss the case.
This isn’t the first time Wendy Williams’ son has made headlines over not paying his rent. In 2022, – after Wendy Williams’ bank accounts were frozen – he was evicted from his $2 million apartment for the same thing.
In court documents, Kevin Hunter Jr. reportedly said at the time,
“As the lease approached the end, my mom went through some health issues that put the court in control of her finances.”

As previously reported, Wendy was placed under court-appointed guardianship in 2022 after Wells Fargo froze her accounts over concern she was experiencing “financial exploitation, dementia, or undue influence.” After her guardian – Sabrina Morrissey – came into play, it’s alleged the financial support the media personality was previously providing her son was still not reinstated.
The Barry University college student previously denied charging large payments to his mother’s card. Reports said he,
“spent around $100,000 on Wendy’s personal America Express card. This was her own AmEx specifically.”
Pushing back on the allegations, Kevin Hunter Jr. said in 2022,
“I vehemently deny any allegations of unauthorized use of my mother’s American Express Card. This is a false narrative perpetuated to justify freezing her accounts”

Elaborating more during his mom’s controversial Lifetime docuseries, he said,
“When my mom was living down here, as one can imagine, it’s not a cheap lifestyle. The courts tried to frame it as though I was making all these charges for my own happiness. My mom has never been a cheap person so whether it be flying her back and forth on private planes or even paying for appointments.”
He added,
“It was all under one American Express.”
