JT Says ‘Yall Go See B*tches w/ No Songs Pour Liquor Down They Throat But Draw The Line w/ My Great Music?’ While Responding To Criticism Surrounding Her Solo Tour

Rap star JT has never been afraid to snap back at critics.

The City Girls member didn’t shy away from doing so today (Mar. 20) after some social media users shared their negative thoughts about her forthcoming solo tour.

After JT, real name Jatavia Johnson, 31, posted a promotional flyer for her upcoming stop in Dallas to her X account (formerly Twitter), one commenter seemingly questioned if the rapper has enough support to embark on a solo tour. In response, the “No Bars” artist wrote:

“Yes! Yall go see b*tches with no songs pour liquor down they throat but yall draw the line with my great music? Go sit your goofy a** down be trying to be so different matter fact come work the door!”

In a subsequent thread, another social media user seemingly made a comment about selling their tickets, to which JT snapped back with:

“B*tch yes I’ll buy them & give them away idgaf about you shady a** b*tch find a toy! I’m not one! Be trying to shade ppl who actually wanna do shit with they life your WACK! give me them ticket now fonky fingers!

As most know JT as being 1/2 of the rap duo City Girls, which also features rapper Yung Miami, naysayers have been skeptical about her success as a solo artist. However, JT stans have certainly been showing up for her as she begins the rollout of her debut solo project. Last year, the musician dropped her first single and accompanying video from the coming album, a song titled “No Bars,” which has amassed over 18 million views on YouTube alone.

Subsequently, the rapper dropped her second single “Sideways” which has also been doing fairly well. The song has racked up over 5.6 million views on YouTube and, as JT noted in her Instagram Story, was recently placed #1 on the most added song on the urban radio chart.

The support that JT has garnered gave rise to the 14-city tour, which is set to kick off on the 23rd of this month. Excitement for the concert series also reportedly prompted the rapper to share with fans that she’s working on adding a few more cities. Despite the love, it seems critics will remain around, casting their unwarranted thoughts about the JT’s success. Though as she noted in one final response to her haters, it seems some may just be looking for her attention.
