Blac Chyna & Amber Rose Reveal How They Rekindled Their Friendship After ‘Falling Out’

A little friendship break never hurt anybody!

Socialites Blac Chyna and Amber Rose are back and their bond is stronger than ever! At one point in time, the pair seemed to be inseparable. However, in 2018 rumors surfaced that they were no longer friends. The whispers surrounding their relationship only grew louder when Blac Chyna missed Amber Rose’s fourth annual SlutWalk. Fans of the ladies also noticed they unfollowed each other on social media.

In December 2023, Amber Rose, 40, spoke on their friendship break and alluded to what caused the tension. In part, she said,

“We weren’t [close], actually, for a long time. We had a falling out, me and Chyna. …I think that we both had to get our lives together so that we could circle back and be better than ever, and that’s what we did.”

During a recent joint interview, the besties spoke about how things have been since they reconciled. Touching on who reached out first, Angela White, commonly known as Blac Chyna, 35, revealed,

??”Amber had reached out and she was like, ‘Proud of you and your sobriety.’”

As previously reported, last September Blac Chyna shared with the world that she was one year sober via a heartfelt post on Instagram.

Amber Rose continued,

“Chyna is so much more than my friend. She’s like my sister. So when your family member that you love, when you feel like you have to grow, they never stop being your family, and I think that’s what people don’t understand. We always remained family, we just, again, had to grow and go our separate ways for a little bit to come back and be better than ever. It wasn’t anything salacious or mean.”

Addressing how things between them have changed since their last go-around as friends, Chyna said,

“I feel like it’s more open communication is there, being just open and honest, you know what I mean? I feel like that’s the main thing and just being real. I feel like we’ve always been that but like that, but now it’s like, it’s not a lot of noise.”

She added,

“To have a friend for like that long, it means a lot because a lot of people, they just fall out. I’m really blessed to have Amber as a friend, and she’s always been super motherly and loving and nurturing.”
