Kendrick Lamar Accused Of Stealing Old Tweets For ‘Not Like Us’
Kendrick Lamar is in hot water. X (formerly Twitter) users have uncovered old tweets suggesting the Grammy-winning rapper’s most talked about bars from his “Not Like Us” diss track aimed at Drake were stolen. The feud between the two rap stars began after a leaked Drake diss track hit the internet. On “Pushups” Drake took slammed other rappers including Rick Ross and Kendrick Lamar, where he called the Compton rapper ‘Pipsqueak.”
Since the track dropped all hell has broken loose in the hip-hop world. Kendrick Lamar has not let up on his beef with Drake. Lamar has released four diss tracks towards Drake and was previously featured on Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That.” Lamar’s record “Euphoria” pointed out how much he hates the Toronto rapper. From the way Drake walks, talks, and dresses. On “6:16 In LA” the rapper points out Drake’s bullying antics and addresses loyalty, or lack thereof, in his circle. On Lamar’s 3rd response, “Meet The Grahams,” he accuses his rival of having a secret 11-year-old daughter.
It is the “Alright” rapper’s last track that has fans questioning this ongoing rap battle. On “Not Like Us” Lamar goes ballistic on Drake while throwing out many accusations. With ‘[DJ] Mustard on the Beat,’ the diss track has social media calling it a summer hit. Besides the dance-friendly beat, the rapper also enthusiastically rips Drake apart.
“Say, Drake, I hear you like ’em young/ You better not ever go to cell block one/ To any b—- that talk to him and they in love/ Just make sure you hide your lil’ sister from him.”
Lamar doubles down on his claims while referring to Drake’s 2021 hit album Certified Lover Boy, adding
“Certified loverboy, certified pedophiles.”
Fans reacted strongly to the track as viral memes and reactions swept across social media. But now social media is calling out Lamar for not only allegedly stealing the above lyrics from X but also other lyrics throughout the song.
In a post that has garnered over 6 million views, a collection of tweets shows users having their one-liners referring to Drake.
In 2021 one user allegedly tweeted
“Drake’s favorite chord must be A minor.”
The tweet is also a lyric in Lamar’s “Not Like Us.”
There has yet to be a comment from Lamar or his camp as fans come to the rapper’s defense. One user posted,
“If you think Kendrick Lamar went on Twitter to find punchlines you’re delusional.”

Still, some spectators are convinced that the rapper may have had assistance coming up with his bars.
