NeNe Leakes Lands Commentary Gig On Lifetime Non-Scripted Series

NeNe Leakes is returning to reality TV, but not as an official cast member of a show. The reality star and actress has landed a gig on a caught-on-camera clip show titled “Outrageous Love with Nene Leakes“.

The show, which will debut this summer, will have Leakes highlighting the ups and downs of couples’ love lives with commentary by Leakes, who will also draw from her life experiences to give additional insight.

Nene first rose to prominence after becoming the breakout star on Bravo’s reality television series, The Real Housewives of Atlanta. She is widely regarded as one of the most notable personalities from The Real Housewives franchise and a prominent figure in reality television and pop culture.

Leakes also played Rocky Rhoades as a series regular on the sitcom The New Normal on NBC until its cancellation in 2013. She was a participant on NBC’s The Celebrity Apprentice and ABC’s Dancing with the Stars. Leakes made her Broadway debut as Madame in Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella in 2014, and in 2015, starred as Matron “Mama” Morton in Chicago.

Outrageous Love with Nene Leakes is produced by Anomaly Entertainment. Leakes, Matthew Kelly, Michael Sorensen, and Karen Infantino serve as executive producers with Amy Savitsky and Nicole Vogel executive producing for Lifetime.
