Update: Sexyy Red Denies Rumors Her Upcoming Arena Tour Will Be Canceled Due To Low Ticket Sales
Update: (July 8, 2024): Sexyy Red says her upcoming tour will go on, no matter what!
The rapper took to her X account today (July 8) and denied rumors her tour has a high chance of being canceled over low ticket sales. She wrote,
“My fans are buying tickets we’re doin just fine we not cancelling no tour dis cancelling sht all cap”

She added,
“I did my touring deal with a black promoter black owned company AG Entertainment and now Dey playin dirty paying pages spreading fake news to discourage my fans from buying tickets”

Original Story: (July 8, 2024): Rapper Sexyy Red’s upcoming tour, The Sexyy Red 4 President Tour, has only sold 37% of tickets since its announcement two weeks ago.
According to @TouringData via X (Formerly Twitter):
SEXYY RED 4 PRESIDENT, @SexyyRed314_
85,217 Tickets Available (North America)
37.11% Percentage Sold (20/24 shows)

The tour, starting in Seattle on August 22, will span 26 cities, including Portland, San Diego, Oklahoma City, Milwaukee, Pittsburgh, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Orlando, New Orleans, and more, concluding in Nashville on Oct. 1.
Opening acts include Hunxho, Loe Shimmy, and BlakeIANA, all joining Sexyy Red in what promises to be a lively series of concerts.

Tickets for the tour went on sale to the general public on June 28, with expectations high following Sexyy Red’s continued success on the music charts.
Her recent hit singles and rising popularity have solidified her position as one of the hottest names in hip-hop, culminating in Billboard Magazine naming her #2 among the Hottest Female Rappers Right Now.

However, despite Sexyy’s accolades and a strong lineup of supporting acts, ticket sales have reportedly been slower than anticipated, with only 37% of tickets sold across 20 out of 24 scheduled shows.
With a few weeks remaining before the kick-off show, industry observers will continue to monitor ticket sales closely.
