Soulja Boy Lashes Out On B. Simone After She Stated That People Don’t Request His Music + She Reacts: I Literally Said ‘He’s A Hip-Hop Legend’
Comedian B. Simone recently found herself on Soulja Boy’s bad side.
The rap star didn’t hold his tongue from insults while slamming the jokester for mentioning him during one of her podcast episodes.

It appears the incident began after B. Simone, 34, namedropped Soulja Boy, 33, on an episode of her podcast Let’s Try This Again. The Wild ‘n Out star recalled being at a photoshoot when she decided to play gospel music. She said everyone was fine and vibing, and no one asked to hear Soulja Boy.
“I don’t think anybody is ever saying put on Soulja Boy…I have never once said, ‘Please put on Crank Dat…’”
She added:
“I would never say that. Why would I say that?”

B. Simone went on to clarify that she has much respect for the rapper despite her opinion, hailing Soulja as a “hip-hop legend” and praising his contributions to the culture as an “innovator” and “trendsetter.” It doesn’t seem that Soulja cared too much for the sentiment.
Responding to the video, the “Crank Dat” artist hurled a slew of insults at B. Simone, repeatedly criticizing her for being bald, calling her “ugly as f*ck,” slamming her career, and alleging that she attempted to have sex with him during a taping on Wild N Out, advances he claims he rejected.

Soulja also mentioned that he’s “not DaBaby,” referencing his fellow rapper being involved in a love triangle with B. Simone and singer DaniLeigh a couple of years back. As you may recall, B. Simone shared in a video she posted two years ago that she cut off her hair in support of her sister who’d been diagnosed with cancer. The entertainer has since been sharing updates about her regrowth process to her Instagram.
It doesn’t appear that B. Simone was rattled too much by Soulja’s comments, however. Responding to his video, she wrote in the comments section:
“This is nuts i literally say “We have to put some respect on Soulja Boy name. He is a trendsetter & an innovator in the culture. So I respect Soulja boy” I literally say he’s a hip hop legend God bless you baby @souljaboy Hope you good”

She also posted a link to her original video where she made the remark to her Instagram story, writing the caption:
“MY RESPONSE TO SOULJA Watch here”
B. Simone additionally uploaded another post to make it clear that she has no worries, sharing a caption with a scripture from Psalms which states:
“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”

DaBaby also appeared to react to being mentioned in the internet squabble, uploading a picture of Soulja during his infamous The Breakfast Club Interview where he accused Drake of stealing his flow.
