Brittney Griner Fires Back At Internet Trolls After Being Ejected From Game Over Altercation w/ Rickea Jackson
WNBA star Brittney Griner is not shying away from online hate comments.
The hooper wasted no time blasting a few social media users who had negative things to say following her altercation with fellow athlete Rickea Jackson.

In case you missed it, both Brittney Griner and Rickea Jackson were ejected right before halftime during Phoenix Mercury’s matchup against the Los Angeles Sparks yesterday (Tuesday, September 17th). The basketball players collided during one play after it appeared that Brittney Griner made contact with Rickea Jackson’s face, prompting the rookie forward to push back. Griner then proceeded to push Jackson before referees and other players intervened and separated the two women.
Griner and Jackson both received double technicals, which resulted in automatic ejections. While off the court, it appears Griner caught wind of some of the negative reactions to the incident. Responding to one social media user who commented:
“Why is that man always tryna fight these women”
Griner quipped:
“cuz mf’s want to try me and they can get this action!”

A few others made light of Griner’s unfortunate Russian prison stint from a few years back. If you recall, the 33-year-old was detained in February of 2022 at an airport near Moscow on drug smuggling charges after she was found with a vape cartridge that contained cannabis oil.

She was ultimately released in December of that year after President Biden negotiated a trade for her freedom. Weaponizing her Russian detainment to ridicule her over the altercation with Jackson, one user wrote:
“That’s it back to russia you go”
With Griner responding:
“come and get me then!”

After another user added:
“BRITT YOU WASN’T TUFF IN RUSSIA”
The pro athlete fired back:
“And yo a** would of been someone b**ch”

It does not appear either woman has commented anything further about the matter at this time.
