Floyd Mayweather Sued For Allegedly Slapping A Stripper At His Club In Las Vegas
Floyd Mayweather is the latest celeb to face a lawsuit.
This time, an exotic dancer at the pro boxer’s Girl Collection strip club in Las Vegas is suing him with accusations that he slapped her.
According to TMZ, Jasmine Woodward filed the claims in Clark County this week and alleged the incident happened on April 23, 2023.
She said that she had just wrapped her shift that night when she confronted Floyd Mayweather about,
“failure to pay her for the shifts that she worked earlier in the weekend.”
He reacted and allegedly,
“slapped her in the face in front of other dancers and customers on the floor of the Club.”
Woodward recalled running to the locker room crying when Floyd Mayweather allegedly followed her. The two talked and she told him she,
“had a problem with how he slapped her.”
Mayweather is said to have responded by telling her she couldn’t take a joke.
She was fired soon after.
A second woman named Brittany Strauss is also a plaintiff and accuses Mayweather of assault, battery, failure to pay minimum wage and withholding tips.
Mayweather’s sister Deltricia Howard is being sued for back pay and damages.
Mayweather responded to the claims in a statement released by his rep Felton Newell to The Athletic.
He “vehemently denies the allegations,” the rep said.
“This is nothing more than a legal shakedown. Mr. Mayweather looks forward to the opportunity to prove in court that these allegations are false.”
