Marlon Jackson Reflects On Final Moments w/ Brother Tito: ‘We Were Laughing & Joking’
Marlon Jackson is sharing heartfelt memories of his late brother, Tito Jackson, revealing they shared laughter just an hour before his passing.
During a recent concert in Atlantic City, Marlon Jackson opened up about the tragic moment he learned of Tito Jackson’s death. He recalled,
“The thing about it is that Tito had called me and we were on the phone laughing and joking, cracking jokes. An hour later, I got a phone call, I talked to the doctor, and they told me he didn’t make it.”
He also mentioned that doctors attempted to help Tito Jackson with a breathing tube, but unfortunately, it was unsuccessful.
Marlon Jackson then stood beside a microphone adorned with Tito’s jacket and hat, leading a moment of silence. Reflecting on their shared history, he said,
“On Sept 10, 2001, we had our last show with our brother, Michael. On Sept 10, 2024—last show with Tito.”
Tears filled Marlon’s eyes as he remembered his brother, who passed away at 70 from a heart attack.
