Netflix Hit w/ Class-Action Lawsuit Over Streaming Issues During Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul Fight
Netflix is facing a class-action lawsuit after users experienced major streaming issues during the Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul fight.
Ronald “Blue” Denton filed the lawsuit in Florida on Nov. 20, just days after he and many others struggled to watch the fight broadcast on Netflix. According to reports, court documents show that Denton claims that as soon as he and others tuned in around 8 PM ET on Friday (Nov. 15), they were hit with “legendary problems, including no access, streaming glitches, and buffering issues.”

Denton is suing Netflix for breach of contract and seeking unspecified damages. Netflix acknowledged the issues on Saturday, stating, “We don’t want to dismiss the poor experience of some members,” but still called the event a “huge success.”
