Boxer Paul Bamba, Signed To Ne-Yo’s Management, Dies At 35 After Championship [Condolences]
Professional boxer Paul Bamba, recently signed by Ne-Yo’s management company, has died at 35, the singer announced Friday.
“Paul’s light and love touched countless lives,” read a joint statement from Ne-Yo and Bamba’s family.

Bamba, a 19-3 fighter, recently won the WBA Gold Cruiserweight title after defeating Rogelio Medina Luna last Saturday. Known for his ambition, he had called out Jake Paul following the victory and previously planned a fight with Tommy Fury in 2022, which was canceled due to weight issues.
Bamba expressed excitement about joining Ne-Yo’s team, calling it “an exciting new chapter.” He fought 14 times in 2024, winning all by knockout.
“We are heartbroken by his passing and ask for privacy during this difficult time,” the statement added.
