Stephen A. Smith Says He Was ‘A Bit Misinformed’ When Asked Why He Didn’t Vote For Trump
While on The Rubin Report recently, Stephen A. Smith was asked why he didn’t vote for Donald Trump if he aligned with the President-elect on certain issues like border control.
Stephen A. Smith replied:
“I was a bit misinformed.”
He also criticized “pressure” from the Black community to vote for Kamala Harris.
He detailed his support for Barack Obama in the 2008 election, stating that there was no way he wouldn’t cast his vote for the first Black U.S. President.
Although he stated that Kamala Harris “was somewhat similar” as a Black woman candidate, and he felt like she was the “safe” option compared to Donald Trump, the longtime sports analyst said he almost had a change of heart after Barack Obama “alluded to misogyny being the reason that they weren’t voting for Kamala Harris. I was highly offended by it.”
