Lil Baby Says Kai Cenat Is Too Young To Understand His Music After Streamer Rates New Album ‘Wham’ 6/10
Lil Baby thinks generational differences may explain why YouTuber Kai Cenat didn’t connect with his new album Wham (Who Hard As Me), released on January 3rd.
In a recent interview with Complex, the 30-year-old rapper shared his thoughts on Kai, 23, giving his latest project a 6/10 rating, explaining:
“People like Kai Cenat, I feel like they’re younger. They ain’t gon’ really understand how I’m coming. You kinda gotta be a little older to really get it.”

Lil Baby also suggested that many streamers today aren’t particularly knowledgeable about music. Suggesting instead that they often share opinions to go viral. He added that music journalists are better equipped to appreciate and understand different types of music.
His comments follow Kai’s livestream review of Wham, where the streamer shared critical thoughts on a few tracks.
