Diddy Files $100 Million Lawsuit Against NBC & Peacock Over ‘False’ & ‘Malicious’ Claims Made In ‘Diddy: The Making Of A Bad Boy’ Documentary
Sean “Diddy” Combs is firing back at NBCUniversal and Peacock with a massive $100 million lawsuit, claiming their recent documentary, “Diddy: Making of a Bad Boy,” is full of falsehoods and conspiracy theories.
The rap mogul, who is currently awaiting trial on sex trafficking and racketeering charges, alleges that the documentary painted him in a “misleading, offensive, or highly objectionable” light, all for profit.
Specifically, Diddy objects to the documentary’s suggestion that he played a role in the tragic passing of his ex, Kim Porter, with whom he welcomed three children. He emphasized that the County Coroner ruled her death as natural causes, dismissing any speculation of foul play.

In the suit, filed earlier today (Feb. 12) in New York State, Diddy additionally argues that NBC “shamelessly capitalized on the public’s appetite for scandal” and “recklessly broadcast outrageous lies” about him. The complaint claims the documentary falsely suggests that he is guilty of heinous crimes, including murder and sex trafficking of minors, without any evidence. Diddy’s attorney Erica Wolff states in the suit:
“NBCUniversal Media, LLC, Peacock TV, LLC, and Ample LLC made a conscious decision to line their own pockets at the expense of truth, decency, and basic standards of professional journalism.”
Adding:
“Grossly exploiting the trust of their audience and racing to outdo their competition for the most salacious Diddy exposé, Defendants maliciously and recklessly broadcast outrageous lies in Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy.”

Despite the explosive allegations, Diddy’s lawsuit reportedly does not request an injunction to remove the documentary from Peacock. Meanwhile, NBCUniversal has not commented on the suit.
If convicted following his trial, set to start in May, Diddy could face life in prison.
