Antonio Brown Appears On Joe Rogan’s Podcast One Day After Having Bankruptcy Hearing Pushed Back Due To ‘Medical Issues’
Antonio Brown is facing accusations of faking an illness to avoid attending a bankruptcy hearing.
According to court documents obtained by In Touch, Antonio’s trustee claims the former NFL star requested a continuance for a March 5 hearing on his debt repayment plan, citing “medical-related” issues. The court granted the delay. However, the very next day, Antonio appeared as a guest on Joe Rogan’s podcast, raising suspicions that his health issues were exaggerated.

The trustee has since suggested converting Antonio’s bankruptcy case from Chapter 11 to Chapter 7, which would grant the trustee more control over his finances. The trustee also proposed dismissing the case entirely, pointing to discrepancies in Antonio’s reported income and expenses.
Antonio filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in May 2023, claiming over $3 million in liabilities, including a judgment from a civil lawsuit, unpaid bills, and several other financial obligations.
The judge has yet to rule on the trustee’s motions.
