Influencer MrBeast Sues Ex Employee Over Hidden Cameras & Massive Data Theft Scandal

Viral influencer and content creator MrBeast is suing former employee Leroy Nabors for “misappropriation of trade secrets” and “breach of contract,” claiming Nabors installed “multiple hidden cameras” in Beast Industries’ offices.

Hired as an IT contractor in 2023, Nabors had access to “servers that housed post-production Beast content.” His daughter’s firm, Vine Networks, also helped manage the IT network.

In late 2023, Nabors shifted to the “special projects team,” handling “content production,” “fundraising,” and “political advocacy.” Despite signing an NDA, Nabors allegedly downloaded over a thousand confidential files, including “business strategy” and “employee personal information.”

MrBeast seeks damages and a “permanent injunctive” order.
