Shannon Sharpe’s Next Podcast Deal Could Quadruple His NFL Earnings
Shannon Sharpe, a Hall of Fame tight end with “three Super Bowl wins, four first-team All-Pro selections and eight Pro Bowls,” may soon out-earn his entire NFL career—$22.3 million—with one podcast deal.
Shannon Sharpe’s “Club Shay Shay” has exploded since his FS1 exit, becoming a network that now includes “Nightcap” with Chad Johnson and “Club 520” with Jeff Teague.
According to Front Office Sports, Shannon Sharpe’s contract with Colin Cowherd’s “The Volume” is up, and “multiple offers” could land him “a deal worth upwards of $100 million.”
That’s nearly quadruple his NFL earnings. While he “likely won’t be pocketing the full nine-digit deal,” his next contract will be his biggest yet. A major boost came from his viral episode with Katt Williams, which has “more than 89 million views on YouTube.”
Add in his “First Take” appearances, and, as the article puts it, “it is a pretty good time to be Uncle Shay Shay right now.”
Y’all think Unc is about to get his biggest bag?
