Producer Rodney Jones’ S*xual A$$ault Lawsuit Against Cuba Gooding Jr. & Justin Combs Dismissed Over Failure To Serve Papers
Rodney Jones’ sexual assault lawsuit against Cuba Gooding Jr. and Justin Combs has been dismissed.
On Tuesday (May 5), the court dismissed Jones’ lawsuit without prejudice due to his attorney, Tyrone Blackburn, failing to properly serve the two men with legal papers.
According to court documents, Blackburn waited until the last minute to make attempts at serving the papers. A process server sent to Justin’s residence was unable to leave the documents because of a massive gate around the property. The attorney wanted the server to leave the documents with a security guard, however, they refused to do so, noting that “[s]ervice to the security guard or front desk personnel will not be accepted by your court.”

Meanwhile, there was no evidence that Blackburn attempted to serve Gooding in either New York or Florida.
For context, the lawsuit, filed in February 2024, accused Jones’ former boss Diddy of touching his genitals, Cuba of groping and fondling him, and claimed Justin was instructed to find underage girls for parties.
Diddy, Justin, and Cuba have all denied Jones’ allegations, with Diddy’s lawyer, Shawn Holley, stating they have “overwhelming, indisputable proof that his claims are complete lies.”
