Travis Scott’s Deadly Astroworld Festival To Be Explored In New Netflix Documentary
A new Netflix documentary, Trainwreck: The Astroworld Tragedy, will dive into the tragic crowd surge at Travis Scott’s 2021 Astroworld Festival that left 10 dead and hundreds injured.
Directed by Yemi Bamiro and co-directed by Hannah Poulter, the film uses footage from fans, 911 calls, and interviews with survivors and families to uncover what went wrong.
Bamiro said,
“Our desire to tell this story stemmed from a very simple question… how can 10 people die at a music festival and no one knows how or why such a catastrophic tragedy happened?”
