Rapper Macklemore’s Seattle Home Broken Into While He Was Abroad, Nanny Bear-Maced w/ Kids Inside

Macklemore’s Seattle home was broken into early Saturday morning (June 7) while he was away in Ireland.

According to reports, two masked men in dark clothing entered through a patio door and demanded jewelry from Macklemore’s nanny while his three kids were asleep upstairs. One of them allegedly yelled, “Where are the jewels, b*tch?” before spraying the nanny in the face with bear mace.

The nanny told police that one of the men looked “scared” after spraying her and even helped clean her eyes. She then led them to a bedroom, where they took thousands of dollars worth of jewelry, watches, and shoes. Soon after, the men took her phone, threw her to the ground, and placed a boot on her neck. She later ran for help, knocking on several neighbors’ doors until someone let her in to call police.

Macklemore’s kids were safely removed from the home after officers arrived.
