Shannon Sharpe Apologizes To Nicki Minaj Following Her Diss On Lil Wayne’s ‘Banned From NO’ Remix: ‘I Never Meant No Disrespect’
Shannon Sharpe is clearing the air with Nicki Minaj after her verse on Lil Wayne’s “Banned From NO” remix.
Nicki took shots at Shannon on the track, rapping,
“‘Bout to cop you slides, all you do is flip-flop, if I send a pic of Shannon, you ain’t that Sharpe.”
The line follows an old tweet from Shannon where he asked, “Nicki who?” after a fan mentioned the rapper wanted to be on his podcast.

On his Nightcap show, Shannon addressed the situation, saying,
“Nicki, I apologize. I meant no disrespect. You’ll always have an open invitation if you ever want to come sit down and have a conversation. Even if you just want to have a private conversation on the phone or something. It won’t go any further between you and me.”
He explained the “Nicki who?” tweet was a misunderstanding as he had been posting about politician Nikki Haley.
