Houston Texans Player Jimmie Ward Arrested After Allegedly Strangling His Fiancée
Jimmie Ward is behind bars after being accused of assaulting his fiancée.
According to Montgomery County deputies, Ward was arrested early Thursday morning (June 12) at his home in Magnolia, Texas. Deputies say his fiancée told them she had been assaulted, strangled, and threatened by Ward. He was booked on a third-degree felony charge of assault family violence, impeding breath or circulation.
The victim has since filed an Emergency Protective Order.

The Houston Texans released a statement saying,
“We are aware of the report involving Jimmie Ward. We are gathering information and have no further comment at this time.”
Ward signed with the Texans in 2023 and remains under contract through the upcoming season.
