House Republicans Vote Against Amendment To Force Release Of Convicted Child Abuser Jeffrey Epstein’s Sealed Case Files

Looks like the remaining case files of the late child abuser Jeffrey Epstein will remain undisclosed to the public, for now.

Republican lawmakers have voted down a Democratic-led amendment that would have forced the Justice Department to release the files, which are rumored to contain pointed evidence from Epstein’s 2019 child trafficking case.

The amendment, attached to cryptocurrency legislation, was championed by Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA), who questioned whether lawmakers are siding with “the rich and powerful” or the American public. The files reportedly include a trove of disturbing materials: “micro cassettes, DVDs, CDs (including one labeled ‘girl pics nude book 4’), hard drives, and even massage tables.”

_______

Attorney General Pam Bondi, who had previously teased a potential release of the files, walked back her claims just 10 days ago. She confirmed that the government would not be releasing Epstein’s client list, rumored to implicate several high-profile individuals, possibly even President Donald Trump, who once had a public relationship with Epstein but in recent weeks has referred to him as “that creep.”

Bondi said the Justice Department has concluded Epstein’s 2019 death was a suicide and has chosen to withhold the files. The move has sparked outrage within the MAGA community, pitting Bondi and Trump against other conservative figures demanding transparency. Despite the setback, Khanna plans to reintroduce the proposal “again and again and again.”

Do you think the public will ever get to see the unreleased Epstein files?
