UPDATE: Arrest Made In Murders Of ‘American Idol’ Music Supervisor Robin Kaye & Husband
Update: (Jul 16, 2025): The LAPD has arrested 22-year-old Raymond Boodarian in connection with the murders of Robin Kaye, the longtime music supervisor for American Idol, and her husband, Thomas Deluca.
According to TMZ, sources say the key evidence that led to Boodarian’s arrest was fingerprints lifted from the crime scene, which matched prints already in the LAPD database due to previous arrests in 2024. Surveillance footage from the couple’s home also helped identify the suspect.
Law enforcement officials have confirmed there is no known personal connection between Boodarian and the Kaye-Deluca family.
As previously reported, Robin Kaye and Thomas Deluca were found dead in their Los Angeles home on July 14 after police responded to a welfare check. Just days earlier, officers were called after someone was seen hopping a fence near the couple’s home carrying what might have been a firearm, but it is unclear if that incident was related.
The investigation is ongoing.
