Colin Kaepernick’s Wife Nessa Diab Says NFL Used Jay-Z To Soften Backlash Following Kneeling Incident, Social Media Reacts: ‘Jay-Z Doesn’t Owe Colin Anything’

 

Nessa Diab is calling out Roc Nation, Desiree Perez, and Jay-Z for what she says went down behind the scenes during Colin Kaepernick’s protest.

Over the weekend, the media personality and wife to Kaepernick came forward in support of Nicki Minaj’s recent criticism of Roc Nation, writing in a post,

“Because I saw them do similar manipulative tactics behind the scenes against [Colin] when they partnered with the NFL on the back of Colin’s protest. The NFL used Jay Z as a shield to smooth over the fact that they blackballed Colin for his protest.”

Social media quickly weighed in. One commenter wrote,

“Jay-Z doesn’t owe Colin anything! He is a businessman who made a great business decision for him and his team.” Another said, “Jay stands for nothing! He should have used his position and insisted that Colin be back playing.”
