Tom Cruise Declined Kennedy Center Honor From Donald Trump, Citing ‘Scheduling Conflicts’

Tom Cruise has turned down an invitation to join this year’s Kennedy Center Honors.

The 2025 ceremony will recognize Sylvester Stallone, Michael Crawford, George Strait, Gloria Gaynor, and KISS.

President Donald Trump will host the event and personally selected the honorees.

Cruise cited “scheduling conflicts” as his reason. He is reportedly promoting Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, preparing for a potential Top Gun 3, and set to receive an Honorary Oscar in November.
