Howard Stern Denies Hating Oprah Despite Years Of Shady Remarks, Says She’s ‘Afraid’ To Sit Down For A Chat
According to #HowardStern, it’s all love between him and #OprahWinfrey.
The radio personality dismissed claims of a long-running feud with Oprah, recently clarifying on #AndyCohen’s SiriusXM show that “I love Oprah. I follow Oprah. I enjoy watching Oprah.” He emphasized that despite past critiques of her wealth and public persona, there’s no bad blood.
When asked if he’s ever had a one-on-one chat with the famed TV host, Howard said, “Never. I think she’s afraid. I know [Winfrey’s best friend] #GayleKing very well. And I think at one point she suggested, ‘Oh, we should get together with Oprah.’ I said, ‘You better check with Oprah. You better. Don’t surprise her with me.’”
He added about the billionaire, “We all know she’s wealthy. But I think in the world right now, there is such a disparity between those who have and those who have not. And it’s only getting worse… so I find it funny. And I’m not gonna sit there and tell you I don’t think it’s funny. I go, ‘Wow, #Oprah is unapologetically wealthy,’ and good for her. But I don’t hate Oprah at all. I think she’s brilliant.”
Do you think Oprah should hash things out with Howard?
