Dreka Says Kevin Gates Cut Her & Their Children Off Financially, Wants Judge To Order Him To Pay $70K Per Month In Spousal & Child Support

#KevinGates and his estranged wife, #DrekaGates, are heading to court.

Dreka is asking a #LosAngeles judge to order Kevin to resume supporting their family financially, claiming he cut her and their two children off in late 2021. In court filings obtained by TMZ, she says Kevin stopped paying property taxes and the kids’ private-school tuition, “dismantling the financial foundation of their family.” She’s seeking $27,193 per month in child support and $46,274 per month in spousal support, noting he’s continued to display wealth, including 18 luxury vehicles and a $4.7 million Calabasas estate, even as their #Mississippi farm faces foreclosure following an IRS $7 million tax levy.

The filing also asks that #Dreka be named the children’s primary physical custodian (at least temporarily), stating their two kids have spent 95% of their time with her since 2023. According to the documents, Kevin has responded by taking the “factually baseless position” that the pair were never legally married. The couple reportedly wed in October 2015, and Dreka filed for divorce in July, citing irreconcilable differences.
