Sad news! A private jet crashed Thursday morning (Dec.18) at Statesville Regional Airport in #NorthCarolina, k!lling multiple people aboard, authorities and local reports say. The Cessna C550 burst into a massive fireball while attempting to land at about 10:20 a.m. ET, according to the FAA and local station WBTV. Business records indicate the jet was owned by a company tied to retired #NASCAR driver #GregBiffle. Reports have been conflicting about whether Biffle, his wife, and children were involved in the crash.
