Kodak Black No Longer Facing $10 Million Lawsuit Over Super Bowl After-Party Shooting
#KodakBlack has come out victorious in the courtroom once again.
A $10?million lawsuit against Kodak Black stemming from a shooting outside a Los Angeles after?party during Super Bowl?weekend back in 2022 has been dropped and cannot be refiled, according to court docs obtained by TMZ. The suit was filed by two men, Mark Schaefer and Adam Rahman, who claimed Kodak’s actions escalated the incident near The Nice Guy restaurant. During the dispute, the Love & War rapper was reportedly shot in the leg.
#Kodak’s lawyer, Bradford Cohen, didn’t hold back when speaking about the case’s dismissal, calling the original complaint “the dumbest, most ridiculous lawsuit I have ever read.”
He explained that rather than pursue further legal action, his team simply gave the plaintiffs’ attorneys an ultimatum: drop the case or get sued for attorney’s fees, and they chose to have the case dismissed. Cohen added, “This should be a warning and a lesson to dopey attorneys, filing dopey lawsuits, come for our clients and we will come for you.”
