DWIGHT HOWARD Files For Divorce From Wife Amber “Amy Luciani” Howard After She Claims CPS Took His Daughter & Alleges He’s Addicted To Cocaine
Dwight Howard is officially pulling the plug on his marriage. The former NBA star filed for divorce from his wife, Amber Howard — also known as Amy Luciani — on Monday morning, according to TMZ.
In the filing, Howard listed January 11, 2025 as the couple’s date of marriage and stated the relationship is “irretrievably broken.” The documents also note that the pair do not share any children together.
Howard is also requesting exclusive use of his Georgia mansion, per the court paperwork.
The divorce filing reportedly came hours after Amber posted a video on Instagram making accusations against Howard, including claims that Child Protective Services had taken his daughter and that he’s allegedly addicted to cocaine.
However, TMZ reported that Amber’s claim about CPS has not been confirmed.
The couple’s relationship has reportedly been rocky — Amber previously filed for divorce in July 2025 after about six months of marriage, though she later withdrew the petition. Howard also filed his own divorce paperwork around that time before dismissing it.
