Former Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax K!Is His Wife, Then Takes His Own Life While Children Were Home

Trigger Warning: Former Virginia Lt. Gov. #JustinFairfax fatally sh*t his wife, Cerina Fairfax, inside their Annandale, #Virginia, home before taking his own life, according to authorities. Police say the couple’s two teenage children were inside the home at the time of the sh**ting, and their son placed the 911 call. Investigators believe the same firearm was used in both de@ths, which occurred shortly after midnight on Thursday.

Fairfax County Police Chief Kevin Davis said the v!olence stemmed from an ongoing dome$tic d!spute tied to what he described as “what seems to be a complicated or messy divorce.” He noted that Justin had recently been served court paperwork related to the proceedings. Authorities also revealed that a prior claim Justin made in January, alleging his wife had a$$aulted him, was not supported by evidence after police reviewed footage from cameras inside the home.

Justin, a Democrat, returned to practicing law after serving as lieutenant governor from 2018 to 2022. In 2019, he faced s3xual a$$ault allegations from two women, which he repeatedly denied while welcoming investigations into the claims, saying he was “confident” they would clear his name. Justin and Cerina’s children are now being cared for by their grandparents and other family members.
