Diddy’s $100 Million Defamation Lawsuit Against NBCUniversal Dismissed By Judge
A federal judge has tossed out Sean “Diddy” Combs’ $100 million defamation lawsuit against #NBCUniversal, dealing a major blow to the music mogul’s claims over a documentary about his life.
The lawsuit centered on a #Peacock film released in January 2025, which Diddy argued pushed false and damaging allegations about him. #Diddy had accused the network and its partners of spreading harmful narratives in the documentary, including suggestions tying him to serious crimes and conspiracy theories. He sought $100 million in damages, claiming the film portrayed him in a false light and damaged his reputation. However, the court determined that the content in question was either protected or not actionable under defamation law, leading to the dismissal of the case.
