Wu-Tang Clan Locked In For Halftime Performance At Tonight’s NBA Finals Game 4
#WuTangClan will headline the halftime show at NBA Finals Game 4 tonight (June 10).
According to Page Six, the iconic hip-hop collective — featuring RZA, GZA, #MethodMan, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Masta Killa and Cappadonna — will perform at Madison Square Garden during the New York Knicks vs. San Antonio Spurs matchup. The performance comes amid the group’s farewell concert tour, Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber, which is currently on a break before resuming in North America this August.
The halftime show carries added significance for the legendary group, which is set to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in November. The occasion is also bittersweet, as the group earlier this year mourned the passing of founding member Oliver “Power” Grant, who d!ed at 52 following a battle with pancreatic cancer. Tonight’s show follows #CardiB’s well-received Game 3 halftime performance at #MSG on Monday, where she ran through a high-energy set that included “Bodega Baddie” and “Bodak Yellow.” The Knicks currently hold a 2-1 series lead.
