Jordyn Woods Faces Backlash After Promoting Target Beauty Campaign Amid Ongoing Boycott
Jordyn Woods is catching heat online after promoting her new beauty collaboration with Target.
The influencer and entrepreneur recently shared a sponsored post highlighting her curated “Beauty Edit” at a Target location in New York City’s SoHo neighborhood. In the video, Jordyn showed off some of her favorite beauty products and encouraged followers to check out the collection in stores and online.
While some fans congratulated her on the partnership, many others used the comments section to voice concerns about Target, referencing the ongoing boycott that has sparked debate across social media. Several commenters wrote messages such as, “We are still boycotting Target,” “Not all money is good money,” and “Love you, but not Target.”
Others expressed disappointment that Jordyn chose to partner with the retail giant, with some suggesting they would not support the campaign because of their stance on the company. A few followers, however, made it clear that their criticism was directed at Target and not Jordyn personally, with one person writing, “Absolutely not Target but absolutely you.”
Despite the backlash, the post also received supportive comments from fans congratulating Jordyn on landing the opportunity and praising the beauty products featured in the campaign.
As of now, Jordyn has not publicly responded to the criticism surrounding the partnership.
