[UPDATE] Lions Terrion Arnold Granted $1 Million Bond After Arrest In Alleged Robbery & A$$ault Setup

Terrion Arnold will not sit behind bars while awaiting trial.

A judge granted the #DetroitLions cornerback a $1 million bond Monday (June 29) during a pretrial detention hearing in Hillsborough County, #Florida. The 23-year-old faces eight felony charges — four counts of kidnapping and four counts of armed robbery — stemming from an alleged February 4th incident in Tampa, where authorities claim he coordinated and directed the robbery of three men at an #Airbnb. Arnold has adamantly denied any involvement. While the judge found probable cause, he sided with the defense over the prosecution’s push to keep Arnold locked up until trial.

The prosecution requested GPS monitoring as a condition of release, but the judge denied it, saying that Arnold’s high profile essentially means the media will serve as a constant monitor of his whereabouts, and that electronic tracking could also interfere with his football career. As conditions of his bond, Arnold must surrender his passport within 48 hours, is barred from communicating with any co-defendants or witnesses, and must remain at home or at work.
