More information has surfaced about Marcellus Wiley’s recent arrest.

The former NFL player was taken into custody over the July 4th weekend after his wife, Annemarie, called police from an Orlando hotel room, alleging he had threatened to k!ll her. According to the arrest affidavit obtained by TMZ, the incident occurred at a Marriott where the couple and their three children were staying for a kids’ basketball tournament; officers say Annemarie reported feeling afraid enough to want him removed from the room.

The #RHOBH alum also told police that, the day before, Marcellus had stood over her and jabbed a finger into her cheek while she sat on the bed, allegedly in front of the couple’s 7-year-old daughter, and claimed there had been prior instances of v!olence she hadn’t previously reported. Marcellus denied that any physical altercation took place and reportedly showed officers text exchanges between him and Annemarie that appeared amicable.

However, police said Annemarie’s written statement gave them probable cause to arrest him for domeStic v!olence b@ttery.
