Cassie’s Former Friend DJ Webstar Says She Unfollowed Him After He Wrote A Letter Supporting Diddy: ‘I Still Consider Her My Sister’
DJ Webstar is explaining why he chose to support Diddy despite his longtime friendship with Cassie.
During an appearance on Atlanta’s Flex 98.5, the Harlem DJ addressed the backlash over the character letter he wrote for the embattled music mogul. Webstar said he submitted it because he did not believe Diddy’s alleged crimes fit the federal RICO case brought against him.
He also insisted the decision did not erase his bond with Cassie, whom he still considers “my sister.” However, Webstar revealed the singer unfollowed him after learning about the letter, while he maintained he was speaking from his own experiences.
