Halle Berry Reveals She Broke Her Toe During Fiji Vacay With Boyfriend & Family

Halle Berry’s family vacation in Fiji took an unexpected turn when the actress broke her toe while playing pickleball.

The Oscar winner revealed the injury while sharing highlights from her tropical getaway with longtime boyfriend Van Hunt and her family at Kokomo Private Island Fiji.

While thanking the resort staff for taking care of her family, Halle shared some of the memorable — and painful — moments from the trip.

“You helped my son get dive certified, nursed my daughter through sea sickness, encouraged Van to jump into the waterfall, and cared for my broken toe (yes, playing pickleball), and even helped us catch a few fish!”

Despite the broken toe, Halle had plenty of good things to say about the getaway, calling it a family vacation “for the ages.”

“Everything was sheer perfection! So thoughtful and all done with so much joy and love.”

The trip also came just ahead of Halle’s 60th birthday on Aug. 14. During the vacation, she was treated to an early birthday celebration featuring a cake, island songs and a special LOVO night.

Halle called the pre-birthday celebration “epic” and said her family would “never forget it.”

She ended her vacation on a positive note, writing:

“It’s true, Fiji does have the happiest people on Earth. We can’t wait to return to paradise!”
